Berlin’s history unfolded

Have a look.

Panta rhei, the universal flux also applies to historical events. They evolve out of the past and have effects on the future. It is this fact that this book pays tribute to by means of its original Leporello fold form. Its focus lies on the Wilhelminian era, the 20th and 21st century — those moving epochs that shaped Berlin like no others: the extravagant houses built in Wilhelminian style, the cultural heritage of the Weimar Republic, the catastrophe of the second World War, the divide and reunification and the re-establishment of normality — all of this is portrayed in a vivid, ever changing city, which still shows signs of its haunting past.
